Toys R U

It was a toy, and yet it wasn’t. It was carefully constructed by a member of a terribly sophisticated civilization in order to help its young ones learn things which, to a human, are indescribable. It existed in numerous dimensions… Yeah, that’s a new Fnool. Just continue reading, will you? That is – click!

ABoSF Reviewed

Here’s a lovely review of The Apex Book of World SF II, edited by Lavie Tidhar, and including my own story “UnderCity”. The latter received some special attention:

…When I read this story, I immediately related it to the entire, massive, weighty corpus of information, thoughts, and events related to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Does Under Tel Aviv represent the Palestinians? Is this a story written by an Israeli who is tortured by the actions of his government? Is he writing a story to relate the sorrows both his people and the Palestinians share?

The problem with thinking along these lines is that Yaniv may not have intended this kind of interpretation at all. It may very well be just a fantastic, wonderful, weird story…

A review like that once a day – keeps the doctor away.

The World of UnderCity

My novelette, UnderCity, will be included in the special pre-order edition of The Apex Book of World SF 2, edited by Lavie Tidhar. I liked the first collection (which also featured a story of mine), and I believe Lavie has done a decent job with this new one. Check it out!

The Fnools are Among Us

I feel that it is my duty, as a citizen and a person, to report the invasion of the Fnools. They are here. They hide in plain sight. And they have a terrible, horrible weapon.

You can hide, but you can’t run.
